EVYD Partners with Brunei Gas Carrier for Blood Donation Drive

EVYD Technology partnered with Brunei Gas Carriers (BGC), Blood Bank RIPAS, and Makan Ceria Sdn Bhd to support a community blood donation drive on 21 June and 25 June. The ‘Give Blood, Give Life’ campaign  attracted 110 successful donors across McDonald’s Lambak (62 donors) and Jerudong Drive-Thru (48 donors) locations.

Supporting Healthcare Access

The partnership aligns with EVYD’s mission to improve healthcare access through technology and community engagement.

“This partnership felt like a natural extension of our mission at EVYD Technology,” said General Manager Abby Tan. “We’re in the business of removing barriers from healthcare access, and supporting blood donation does exactly that – just in a very human, immediate way.”

Strong Community Response

BGC employees, EVYD staff, and community members participated across both days. The drive raised awareness about Brunei’s ongoing need for sustainable blood supply while ensuring all medical protocols and safety standards are met.

Building Health Partnerships

The collaboration demonstrates how health technology companies can support public health through direct community engagement. All donors received appreciation tokens, and both companies expressed gratitude for the strong community participation that made the drive successful.

Next Steps

This marks EVYD’s first collaborative CSR initiative. The company plans to explore additional community health partnerships that align with its mission of improving population health outcomes through data and technology.
