Special Ministerial Conference for the 1st ASEAN Digital Public Health
6-7 October 2021, Brunei Darusalam and Singapore
More than 50 prolific speakers and moderators, consisting of ASEAN Health Ministers and Finance Ministers, public health officials, experts and thought leadership leaders from world organizations, funding bodies, NGOs, and financial institutions convened to discuss topics ranging from the science behind pandemics, lessons learnt from the COVID-19 pandemic to investing, financing and collaborating in public health. Featuring the theme of "Collaborate for a Happier and Healthier World Post Pandemic", the conference was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Economy in Brunei, Ministry of Health in Brunei, Brunei Investment Agency and Temasek Foundation.
7th World One Health Congress
7-11 November 2022, Singapore
The World One Health Congress is the world's premier conference to advance the One Health agenda – a global movement underpinned by the interdependence between humans, animals and the environment. We had the privilege of presenting seven abstracts (as both first and co-author) at the 7th World One Health Congress (WOHC) in Singapore themed "Integrating Science, Policy and Clinical Practice: A One Health Imperative Post-COVID-19". In parallel, we also organized a discussion titled, "How Can We Leverage Technology and Social Listening To Improve Scientific Communications and Manage Public Health", as part of Temasek Foundation's Pinnacle Series at the 7th WOHC.
2nd ASEAN Digital Public Health Conference
8-9 December 2022, Brunei Darusalam
The 2nd ASEAN Digital Public Health Conference which was held in Brunei and online attracted over 500 participants and featured more than 60 prominent moderators and speakers, including ASEAN Ministers, policymakers, top public health officials, multidisciplinary experts and industry leaders from healthcare and finance. Hosted by the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Health in Brunei, the conference, themed "Health and Healthcare Beyond COVID-19: Building Forward Together", was organised by EVYD Technology in partnership with the Brunei Investment Agency and the National University of Singapore Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, and supported by Temasek Foundation.
Precision Public Health Asia 2023 Conference
12-14 July 2023, Singapore
In conjunction with the Precision Public Health Asia 2023 Conference, we co-organized a Leadership Forum for leaders from across Southeast Asia to share insights and examine the growing role of digital technology in shaping public health initiatives. In attendance were distinguished health leaders, including YB Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Md Isham bin Hj Jaafar, Minister of Health of Brunei Darussalam, Dr Hjh Anie Haryani Haji Abd Rahman, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Management), Ministry of Health of Brunei Darussalam; and Pg Dr Noor Affizan binti Pg Hj Abd Rahman, Medical Superintendent, Ministry of Health of Brunei Darussalam. The Leadership Forum is recognized as a satellite event co-organized by the PPHA 2023 Conference and EVYD Technology, in conjunction with the 3rd ASEAN Digital Public Health Conference. The successful co-organization of this forum highlights EVYD Technology’s commitment to harness technology to enhance public health outcomes in the Southeast Asia region.
