Public health surveillance relies on accurate and comprehensive data sources to inform public health policy and programs, and enable decision-making by government bodies, health organizations, research institutes, and public health professionals.

Surveillance encompasses practices including disease registries, outbreak investigations, and health systems research.

Currently public health surveillance systems may be faced with challenges:

Health data tends to reside across different systems with different formats, making it difficult to combine the data for an accurate and complete picture.

Health data may not be updated in real-time, potentially inhibiting timely response to public health situations requiring action.

Health data may be manually recorded by doctors without standardization, leading to inconsistencies and gaps in the healthcare system.

Health data may not be presented intuitively to support visualisation, insights and decision-making.

By aggregating and processing varied health data from multiple sources at city and national levels, we allow health authorities and policymakers to actively monitor population health conditions and identify trends and emerging risks. Health authorities are then equipped with the information to take targeted measures to prevent or contain diseases before they become public health issues.

Solutions

Outsmart Outbreaks:

Communicable Diseases

Track and monitor the emergence and spread of over 50 infectious diseases in real-time to automate reporting and enable timely response.

Gain proactive response: Utilize smart reporting and alert systems to trigger immediate action when risk thresholds are met. Continuously update system guidelines based on real-world evidence, ensuring optimal preparedness.

Global Standards, Local Impact: Built on internationally recognized reporting frameworks by World Health Organization, Clinical & Laboratory Standards Institute, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, we ensure data integrity and comparability.

Identification of Effective Treatments: Offers antibiograms and antimicrobial consumption trends, including antimicrobial susceptibility testing results for various bacterial isolates. This assists doctors antibiotic stewardship and developing appropriate, tailored antibiotic regimens.

Beyond Monitoring:

Combatting Non-Communicable Diseases using Data

Aggregate clinical information and lifestyle risk factors from across systems for a comprehensive view on non-communicable disease trends, and elucidate their correlation and causation.

Tailored Dashboards, Targeted Interventions: Utilize our advanced analytics to ascertain insights in disease burden and resource utilisation to facilitate targeted therapies and smarter resource distribution.

Predicting the Future, Shaping the Present: Our cutting-edge analytics not only capture current disease patterns but also forecast future shifts, empowering stakeholders to implement forward thinking health strategies.

Disease Registries for Improved Disease Management and Outcomes: Deploy disease registries with clinically relevant, evidence-based patient labels to guide policy and clinical decision-making towards better population and patient health outcomes.

Case studies of customers who have successfully used EVYDENCE to improve their healthcare organizations

Ensuring public health safety in the face of emerging pandemics and emergencies requires the collective efforts of multiple sectors of our society. Through the Special Ministerial Conference for ASEAN Digital Public Health conference, we were able to identify key solutions that can help the region to move ahead – including discussing the importance of impactful financing in driving research and development, as well as building a digital infrastructure that can help to strengthen the efficiency of our healthcare systems. These conversations are crucial to have if we want to work together for the long-term.”

Dato Dr Amin Liew Abdullah,

Minister at The Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, Brunei Darussalam Mark Hagne

With the launch of one of the health management features in the BruHealth app, the BN on the Move feature will hopefully encourage the public to lead a healthier lifestyle by exercising or conducting activities together. Activity trackers provide data which enable you to become aware of your physical activity levels, work towards a goal and monitor progress. Studies have shown walking and physical activities can lead to weight loss, improved glucose tolerance and reduced blood pressure. As part of the Ministry of Health’s plans to further develop the BruHealth app to become a Digital Health App that can personally tailor health plans for each individual, MOH and EVYD Technology have laid out plans to roll out in phases improvements to BruHealth to ensure the public can benefit using it, and to personalize BruHealth for individual person health management plans.”
